When you book a party at Play Cafe, everything you need for a fun, easy celebration is covered! Every booking includes a downloadable invitation, a tasty party meal for each child, unlimited squash, an ice lolly treat, access to our indoor play area and exclusive use of our colourful party room (up to 30 children).
Optional party bags are available at an additional cost—just ask!
To secure your booking, a £50 non-refundable booking fee is required.

How do I secure a party booking?
Your party is confirmed once we receive the £50 non-refundable booking fee. You’ll get a confirmation email as your receipt.
Is the £50 booking fee refundable if I cancel?
No, the booking fee is non-refundable. However, we may be able to move your booking to a new date within 30 days, subject to availability.
When do I pay the rest of the party balance?
The remaining balance is due on the day of the party, after final food orders are placed. Your £50 booking fee will be deducted from this amount.
What is the minimum and maximum number of children allowed?
A minimum of 10 children is required (you’ll be charged for at least 10), and the maximum number we can accommodate is 30 children per party.
What happens if some children don’t turn up?
You will still be charged for the minimum of 10 children, regardless of any no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
Can I bring my own food or snacks?
No, external food is not permitted except for a Birthday cake. Please be mindful of allergens if bringing a cake.
What’s included in the party package?
All party children will enjoy soft play, the private party room, unlimited squash, party food, and ice lollies. Invitations are also included—download them online or collect in person.
Can you cater for allergies or dietary needs?
Yes, we can! Just note any dietary or allergen requirements on your booking form so we can prepare accordingly.
Are adults included in the party price?
One adult per child (plus the birthday child) goes free. Extra adults or siblings not attending the party can pay for a standard play session on arrival.
What extras are in the party room?
Our party rooms feature hand-painted décor, disco lights, and an Amazon Alexa for music. We kindly ask that you don’t stick decorations to the walls or use party poppers/cannons.
Can I arrive early to set up?
Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled party time. Your 2-hour slot includes set-up, play, food, and cake time.
What happens if Play Cafe cancels my party?
If we have to cancel for any reason, your £50 booking fee will be refunded in full.
Can I store or serve the birthday cake at Play Cafe?
Due to allergen laws, we cannot store, serve, or cut your cake, but we’re happy to assist with a cake knife, napkins, and safety matches.
What music can we play in the party room?
Our rooms include Amazon Alexa—feel free to request your favourite child-friendly songs during your party.
Are socks really required?
Yes! For hygiene and safety, all children must wear socks while using the soft play areas.
Can I decorate the party room myself?
You’re welcome to bring banners or balloons, but please don’t stick anything to the walls. Our rooms already feature vibrant hand-painted decor.
